Mapu Lemanua

Executive Director

Mapu has over twenty years experience in senior living operations. She began her career in admissions and marketing in senior living and found that her compassion for seniors enticed her interest in pursuing her administrator’s license. Mapu earned a Bachelor of Science from Emporia State University and majored in Finance. Beyond her formal education, Mapu volunteered for the Kiwanis Club where she served for a few years, and for Meals on Wheels. She is active in her church and volunteering there as well.

Rozina Moffit

Director of Nursing

Rozina is a registered nurse specializing in long-term care with more than 25 years of experience. She obtained her RN BSN degree from Grand Canyon University, and she has worked in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and long-term care facilities. Her unwavering belief is focusing on the whole person when caring for her residents. She is highly passionate about providing quality care, while being mindful of the individual preferences and needs of both her residents and staff.

Mia Fite

Assistant Director of Nursing

Mia has been with Walnut Place for over 18 years. She’s a certified dementia professional, fiercely loyal to our community and our residents. She actively advocates for residents in our short-term rehabilitation care to ensure they’re consistently receiving the high-quality care Walnut Place is known for.

Maria Perez

Director of Business Development

The journey to find the right fit for your loved one can be difficult. Maria takes pride in being a resource to help families find quality skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation care. With over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field, her main goal is to help residents find happiness, comfort and joy at Walnut Place.

Svetlana Santic

Director of Community Outreach

As the Director of Community Relations, Svetlana is committed to supporting families searching for assisted living or memory care for their loved ones. She has worked in the community for 14 years.

Etosha Bernard

Dining Services Director
Etosha Bernard Dietary Director

Etosha is driven by her passion for providing quality, delicious meals for the residents. She prides herself and her team on preparing meals based on the residents’ feedback and requests, so they are served meals that taste like the home cooked meals they enjoy. She has a culinary arts degree from Sowela Technical Community College and a management degree from Louisiana State University at Eunice. She has more than ten years’ experience in the food & beverage industry.

Charles Sinclair

Plant Operations
Charles Sinclair, plant operations

Charles moved to the United States from Jamaica in 2012. He has over 20 years’ experience in plant operations, working at a college in Jamaica for 23 years, and then at a warehouse his first year in the U.S. He enjoys repairing items for residents to ensure they have a comfortable environment to live in.

Amy Lindsay

Director of Life Enrichment

Amy Lindsay returns to Walnut Place as the Life Enrichment Director in 2024. She held the same position from 2016 – 2019. Amy has over 15 years’ experience working with Assisted Living and Memory care, as well as short and long-term skilled nursing. Amy puts all her energy into accommodating individual tastes as well as keeping group dynamics fun, interesting, and meaningful. Every resident deserves to have the very best in the form of activities to promote self-worth, purpose, and a sense of community. Amy leads with happiness in her heart, which spreads throughout the community.

Anecia Wolderding

Admissions Director

As Director of Admissions, Anecia enjoys assisting families and prospective residents through the admissions process. Helping make the next step in families and resident lives go as easy as possible is Anecia’s mission as she has a passion for helping others and is attentive to their needs. At Walnut Place, we greet everyone with a smile and Anecia does just that. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her friends and family.

Chinenye Ezeh

Director of Rehabilitation

Chinny attended Howard University, where she earned her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She is a seasoned practicing therapist with more than 8 years of experience with a niche in working with patients with neurological deficits that include stroke and traumatic brain injury. Chinenye takes pride in working with a team of exceptional therapists that focus on improving the quality of life of each patient they encounter.

Tammi Bradbury

Business Office Manager

Tammi started her career with Life Care Services, LLC in 2019 as the Admissions Director at our sister community in Bedford. Tammi joined the Walnut Place family in May of 2022, serving as the Business Office Manager.  She is the mother of three beautiful children.  In her spare time, she enjoys attending celebrity conventions and obtaining their autographs.  She has several pictures on her “wall of fame” in her office.

Latonia Washington

Assisted Living Director

Latonia has always had a love for working with the senior population, because there is so much to be learned from their knowledge and insight. As Assisted Living Director at Walnut Place, Latonia appreciates our community’s family-oriented environment, especially among the staff.
