Dusty Davis, Executive Director

Executive Director

Dusty Davis finds it an honor to be the leader of the dynamic team at Walnut Place, an established community with so much rich history. Dusty worked as a nursing home administrator for over 20 years and has loved being in health care for so many reasons. Her favorite part of our community is seeing all our happy residents and their families daily.

Brooke Biggerstaff, Administrator


Brooke began her senior living career as a caregiver and today serves as the Health Center Administrator.  She is very passionate about providing a safe, homelike environment where seniors can be taken care of.  She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and a concentration in long-term care.

Yolanda Messick, Director of Nursing

Director of Nursing

Yolanda is passionate about her role as director of nursing and the ability to serve the elderly community. She has worked in the long term care field for more than thirteen years, She is a graduate of North Texas Career Institute and Lamar State University.

Mia Fite, Assistant Director of Nursing

Assistant Director of Nursing

Mia Fite has been with Walnut Place for over 18 years. She’s a certified dementia professional, fiercely loyal to our community and our residents. She actively advocates for residents in long-term care to ensure they’re consistently receiving the high-quality care Walnut Place is known for.

Samantha Jones, Community Relations Director

Community Relations Director

Samantha earned her B.A. in Sociology and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She is committed to supporting families searching for assisted living or memory care for their loved one. She is focused on providing open communication and takes pride in Walnut Place’s promise to care for the residents when they need extra help. Click here to view her bio video.

Elizabeth Smith, Admissions Director

Admissions Director

Elizabeth Smith has worked in the senior living industry since 2009. Her goal is to ensure all residents, whether they are with us for a short stay or permanently, have a smooth, stress-free transition to our community. Maria Martinez, Healthcare Liaison

Healthcare Liaison

The journey to find the right fit for your loved one can be difficult. Maria takes pride in being a resource to guide families in the right direction. As a member of the Alzheimer’s Association Walk Committee, her passion shines through. Her main goal is to help residents find happiness, comfort and joy at Walnut Place. Watch Maria’s video bio.

Lynn Bergman, Healthcare Liaison

Healthcare Liaison

Lynn is a healthcare liaison with more than 20 years in corporate and nonprofit communications and development roles. For Lynn, working with social workers, case managers, residents, and families is not just a job, it’s about making a positive difference. Lynn credits “Auntie Ruthie” for instilling her love and care for the senior population.

Camille Flores, Assisted Living Director

Assisted Living Director

Camille has demonstrated her passion of helping seniors achieve the highest quality of life possible since 2011. She is a resource to families in need of Assisted Living and Memory Care services.  She holds a degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University and is a Dementia Care Specialist. Svetlana Santic, Admissions Concierge

Admissions Concierge

Svetlana started as a medication aid in 2010 and moved into the concierge role in 2016. She currently works as the Admissions Concierge at Walnut Place and most enjoys the friendly environment of the community. Her goal is to make sure residents’ stay is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Watch Svetlana’s video bio.

Todd German, Director of Therapy Services

Director of Therapy Services

Todd German went to school in Michigan where he acquired his Occupational Therapy Degree. He is a seasoned practicing therapist with more than 10 years of experience. Additionally, Todd is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.

Jannie Delgado, Social Worker

Social Worker

As the social worker, Jannie serves as a resident advocate by identifying the needs of the residents and helping them access the services that best meet their needs. She supports new long-term care residents by helping them adjust to their new residency and provides support based off care assessments. Her goal is to help the residents maintain their independence and support them as they “age in place”.

Ashley Epting, Dining Services Director

Dining Services Director

As the Dining Services Director, Ashley is passionate about food and helping people. She works off the motto that “food is healing, food is happiness and food brings back memories”. She enjoys sharing love and comfort through food. In her role, she works directly with the residents to better understand their preferences, so she can tailor the weekly menu designed to meet their expectations.

Charles Sinclair, Plant Operations

Plant Operations

Charles moved to the United States from Jamaica in 2012. He has over 20 years’ experience in plant operations having worked at a college in Jamaica for 23 years and warehouse his first year in the U.S. Charles is enjoys repairing items for the residents to ensure they have a comfortable environment to live in.

Shirley Clark, Medical Records Coordinator

Medical Records Coordinator

Shirley Clark started at Walnut Place 8 years ago as a Certified Nurse Aide. She was promoted to Ward Clark, and then again to Medical Records Coordinator, a role she’s held for the last 2 and a half years, delivering superior customer satisfaction. She’s grateful to be a part of the amazing team here, enjoying developing relationships with the staff, residents and their families.

Sonjia Cooper, MDS Coordinator, LVN

MDS Coordinator, LVN

Sonjia Cooper has been a nurse since 1994, finding her calling at a young age thanks to her grandfather working as a porter at the local hospital. She always knew she wanted to help people and make a difference in their lives, understanding that sometimes, a big smile and a hug can work better than medication.

Angela Dudley, Case Manager

Case Manager

Angela Dudley has been a nurse for over 20 years and says working at Walnut Place is her best nursing experience yet, attributing the success of the team to the great relationships they all have together.

LaTonya Wilkerson, Staffing Supervisor

Staffing Supervisor

LaTonya has demonstrated compassion and dedication to the residents of Walnut Place for over 20 years. Her current role at the community is the Staffing Supervisor for the Health Center and is a licensed CNA.

Christy Hardin, Central Supply Coordinator

Central Supply Coordinator

When seniors are considering Walnut Place, Christy likes to assure them that it’s a place they can confidently call home. It is her goal to go above and beyond to not only help residents but also to give them a sense of family, belonging and happiness. As the Central Supply Coordinator, she is motivated by the strong team of administrators and employees she works with each and every day.
